The Digital Library uses zip files to download individual images and groups of images. If you’re using a PC, these are a few examples of what this process may work on your computer.

To Unzip your File on a PC
Zip programs for PCs
Within Firefox, you may have the option to select your preferred zip program from a drop-down menu. Select your preferred program and click OK.
Within Internet Explorer, you can simply click on the downloaded file or click on the drop-down arrow and select Open.
Within Google Chrome, click Open.
Within Safari, click Open.
To unzip your file on a PC:
1. After you click Open, your file will open in a zip program where you can unzip your file. Please note: If your version of Windows has a built-in zip program that you would like to use, you may download and right-click on the zip file, select Extract All, then follow the prompts that follow.
2. Within your zip program, you will select the files you would like to unzip and click Extract.
3. Click on the drop-down arrow or the Browse button to choose a location to save your unzipped files.
4. You will then select a destination (i.e. Desktop) and click OK to unzip and save your files to your computer.
